Murder at the Italian Wedding

Auditions:
“Murder at the Italian Wedding,” written and directed by Paul Warshauer will be held on Monday January 30, and Tuesday January 31, 2012 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
Please show up at the Grand Kabaret located at 210 N. Minnesota Street in New Ulm, MN anytime in between 7:00 & 8:00 pm.
You do not have to stay the entire time although it will be fun to watch as part of the show might be created and cast at the auditions! We are looking to fill 7-9 roles: 4 male, 4 female, and 1 undecided. Because of the material we are looking for actors between the ages of 21 through 101. No younger and no older, please. Experienced actors preferred but no experience is really necessary. Auditionees should like to get up in front of people, play a role, and talk loudly. Being silly and making funny noises are a plus.
The show is “Murder at the Italian Wedding” so naturally we are looking for characters such as: bride, groom, evil mother in law, narcoleptic Minister, best man, maid/matron of honor, mob boss, henchman, goofy grandpa, “the other woman,” etc. We are also looking for a keyboardist who likes to play sappy wedding music. You may also come to the audition with an idea for a character in mind, if not, material will be provided. The author, Mr. Paul Warshauer has written, directed and hosted 325 of these and he will write the show based on who auditions! Performances are on February 17 & 18, 2012 at the Grand Kabaret. A nice meal will be provided to the cast each night.
